I know you enjoy having your weekend to yourself, but it’s not TOO much to ask that you watch your own son for a few hours while Mom and I go and enjoy ourselves. I know he seems like a lot to handle, but doing his treatments and keeping him fed for a little while isn’t THAT hard. I KNOW because I do it all the time, and every time I’m around and she’s not, you pass the job onto me. And that’s fine, because it’s not a big fucking deal.
Mom does the lion’s share of his caretaking and I’m just tired of hearing you complain every time you have to too. I know you feel like you do enough for this family, but being a father doesn’t always just mean bringing home a paycheck. Mom does that AND cares for someone who can’t do a lot on their own pretty much singlehandedly. We owe it to her to let her have a break sometimes.
I don’t like sounding ungrateful, but please just STOP WHINING.

I tripped again. Third time in two weeks. No sprained ankle (as far as I can tell) this time, but I did fuck up my right hand and knee. I didn’t have time to patch myself up properly either, so I just kinda sat there bleeding all over my pants on the bus ride over.
